Above is a lnik to a game reviewers weekly post........

The name of the game reviewer is Yahtzee, (don't ask) who is a Brit that moved to Australia and now has a post in the Escapist Magazine.

The main reason the reviews are so great is that the do not only make you lyao, they are also very honest and truthful.....

I recommend you check out the Manhunt and Halo 3 reveiews, certain to make you lyao!

*Warning:some of these videos contain explicit sexual references, so don't say i didn't warn you.*

As much as I tend to dislike silly reviewing, these did actually tickle my spine quite a bit.
I love 'If you do actually enjoy this game have fun playinging it while you hang around in the labyrinth with Perseus 'cuz you're obviously a non-existant creature of myth.'

ah, but yahtzee is much more than his editorial reviews. He creates games, webcomics (that are pretty wierd) and articles/stories.

That was good. I clicked expecting not to like it, and I was initially put off by how fast he was talking, but it made me laugh quite a few times.

Oh my God, watch the Medal of Honor: Airborne review!

It was absolutely hilarious! He bagged on America pretty hard politically, but in an absolutely brilliant way.

Ah, yes......

I'd warn any Americans out there who may be insulted as he only seems to stop doing that when he's talking about Valve's Half-Life.

Yeh, 'specially the part about "a 12-year-old girl" bossing him about. I mean, I know she's the 1st Halo's Commander's daughter and all, but why does "humanities last hope" listen to her??????

Yahtzee is brilliant. Usually gets me a lot of weird stares when I burst out in laughter at the cafe on campus.

My favorite review of his has to be the Assassins Creed review, followed with a tie between the Heavenly Sword review and the Medal of Honor: Airborne review.

And most Americans would be insulted by the video?

Yeah, there are some, extreme cases, who would be, I'll admit. But I'm not. Nor were any of my friends that watched the video too. We saw the parody in it, laughed, and moved along.

Hell, I'm sure most Americans would laugh at that video.

I agree with Preston C, it's funny, and admittedly mostly true. It's funny, and I'm not insulted.

Funny reviews though .

Bloody funny reviews. But does he actually like anything much? Bit of a whining pom down there I would imagine.

Heh heh, really liked the one with going down the mountain every bloody level. Most funny.

Cheers

Tomaydo, Tomahto, he still commented that Half-Life kept the linear path connecting encounters thingy which he said was alright as that was what made HL 1 great,(which it was).

I'm sure he probably really liked all these games. It's just another Angry Video Game Nerd style rant review. Deep down they all love the games, they just want to make funny reviews out of the minor bad things they can pick out and blow 'em out of proportion.

Actually, knowing Yahtzee's other stuff, he's speaking truthfully. He fancies himself a game designer, (and I think he's actually quite good at it), and because of that is slightly arrogant (for lack of a better word).

I think the main thing to note is that whilst he highlights the bad points in games, you'll notice he doesn't actually dislike them all. E.g. He found Manhunt 2 fun until it turned into a normal shooter, and he even found Assassins Creed to be quite good (despite all the emails he got) despite the repetitiveness and little nuances he highlights.

Lolz, that review was pretty funny.

On the subject of going to war with the US, they kill more of your troops than the enemy does and call it friendly fire!

Big Rigs Over The Road Racer was the worst ever game review I saw check it out... how not to release a game!

Big Rigs is an impressive racing-game without all the hassle: truely pick-up and play!

Big Rigs is one of the better games ever released. Featuring highly futuristic trucks that use matter-degenerating grills to pass straight through buildings, it sets a impressive atmosphere of a race against the opponent, without much hassle. The controls are simple and inituitive, although driving backwards does allow for bonus points that allow you to speed up even more - very well implemented, actually. Besides that, for those of you that are afraid of losing, the AI dynamically adapts to a level at which you can win. Lastly, the world is as freeform as you'll ever find it: the developers do not limit the player to set boundaries, no, you're free to go where-ever you want. Accentuating this point is the fact that all trucks are equipped with anti-gravity wheels that allow it to drive 90 degrees vertically.

All in all, Big Rigs is a extremely impressive game that I can recommend to anyone. Although the graphics are slightly out-dated, we all love gameplay above graphics, don't we?
