This question has been asked many times, i've searched this board and elsewhere for weeks to get to the stage i'm at now.

I have a (very) simple animated character created in 3ds max, using bones. I am using panda exporter to make .x file for use in BD.

I have got it to the stage where it hasn't "exploded" in DB, but the animation is still not right.

I have opened the exported .x file using the Konvurd program (recommended elsewhere on this forum) and the character and animation are fine (orientation a bit wierd), but when running in a simple DB prog, the character is fine, but the animation is incomplete.

This was meant to be a simple character and prog to demonstrate an animated character in DB before moving on to something more complex.......

I have plenty programming experience, but fairly new to 3d modelling.

attached .x file

Thanks

SYNTAX:
PLAY OBJECT Object Number
PLAY OBJECT Object Number, From Frame
PLAY OBJECT Object Number, From Frame, End Frame

darkbasic classic doesnt support bones as far as i know, so you wont get far using it. Darkbasic pro can use bones. http://darkbasicpro.thegamecreators.com/ .

I remember having a similar problem when trying to load my models into Dbc, in the pandasoft exporter, see if you have the "matrix" thingy, selected, if so, try the "position scale and rotate".
