heh. Just remembered that I should post this here too. (just remembered that I had an account here too.. ) But I guess I don't have to anymore.

Thank you ESC. that was very thoughtfull of you.
and otherwise fellas here could have missed out few amazing textures.

And yeah, this texture gallery is mainly targeted for DB users. And I'd like to keep it that way, if only the userbase is 'large' enough.
btw, at the moment there are 106 textures and it's not the end.

uuh. that's a lot.

BUT, if you look at the page, you will see that most of them are something 204x78, meaning that they are not best for Game projects and such. I found few pretty decent ones, and they were 240x240 max.

Whereas our little project contains over 100 (few of them are just 256x256) 512x512 textures mainly designed for games and 3d apps. (and currently quite exclusively for DB community)
Besides, these are textures you will hardly find anywhere else.

Oh well, this should only good news for you, since you can use the link above and our site. That means you've got More than 4500 textures at your disposal.

heh. I'm not disappointed. Just waiting for anykind of actual feedback from Users. If there are any.

The texture system itself is going on great, Now with esc's and froggermon's new textures, the gallery should provide a wide variety of different kinds of textures.

Just hoping that people would Notice that.

I noticed.

there was (and still are) problems with my connection to the net, so sorry if the page wasn't updated monday. Now I added few textures and approved some, totalling the amount to 131.
Hopefully, I can continue updating it normally this week. After that, everything should be normal again.

as for the royaltyfreeness of the textures, I cannot answer for all of us. What I do know is that hardly ever anyone finishes a game and manages to sell it. (at least with DB)
I think you can safely & freely use these textures for now, and IF something should come up, I think the deal would be very fair. At least better than most commercial sites have.

I'll get back to this point when I have talked to Esc and Froggermon about this.
