Felt I just had to share with you, I just got a wacom tablet. Oh the fun. I'm using it now, drew a little picture in photoshop with it. (Picture attatched). It's a great tool. I got the 'Bamboo one' version, althoguh personally I can't see the difference in many of the models. It came with ArtRage 2 as well. Great fun.

Not bad at all, not bad at all. The Bamboo has somewhat of a smaller reso than most other models, I recall (ain't certain). In any case, you're making nice stuff there. Been using a tablet for a year or two now and can't live without it for stuff now.

Heh, I wouldn't call my stuff any where near nice, althogh it's much much better than what I can do with a mouse.
Yeah, the Bamboo does have rather a small reso, but it doesn't seem to make that much of a difference. Wacom+Photoshop=Wonders
Anyway, thanks.

Cool stuff! Nice pics

I also got a Wacom tablet! I opted for an intuos tablet though. The real differences are the number of presure levels and it recognizing pen tilt. I got it for a decent price of E-bay. It came in a couple weeks ago, but my wife wouldn't let me use it until today!

Cruel, very cruel. I don't think I'd be able to resist using the tablet the moment it entered the house!
Fun little things, aren't they?

does the sig on the first pic say Alex Jones?
Is that your name, or are you promoting the T-Rex of talk, the one and only Alex Jones, out of Austin Texas?

We got the one I have from PC World I think, but they're everywhere.
They can be quite expensive, though, so be prepared!
