Quick question here to anyone who pre-ordered Mario Galaxies.

Anyone who pre-ordered the game got that free collector's coin. But the game itself comes in a seperate box doesn't it... My little sister opened up the present and we went to go turn the game on later only to find that the disc was not in the cardboard collector's box with the coin. I hadn't checked the box when I left the store with the game I figured it was just a commemorative special pre-order case that INCLUDES the coin. I didn't know they had a seperate box just for it.

So the stupid people at the local Gamestop only gave me the collector's coin How could they be that dumb? They had to have been handing the game and coin boxes all day to other pre-orderers. This is really frustrating, so I have to go back and hope they believe me when I tell them what happened.

Argh. Did this happen to anyone else when they got Galaxies?

That sucks! I usually shop at local small shops just in case that kind of thing happens, they're generally more understanding especially if you become a regular

Good luck!

Where was it in the carboard box. And also, is it the same box with the coin in it?

The above 2 pictures are what I got. Picture 1 is the box itself, all packaged up as it came. Picture 2 is the box that was inside the sleeve. Aside from the coin there was nothing else in the box. Odd?

It's packaged as if this is only the collector's coin box but the box implies that Galaxy is supposed to be in there, when it's not.

That sucks adam, well I'm sure they'll give you the game, clearly you have the coin, but a reciept of your pre-order might not hurt.

The game was in mine, but in a real "carboard box", one you'd dump your stuff in. Nintendo must hate its fan's.

Mom went to Gamestop yesterday and talked it over. They said it happened to at least one other person as well. They gave us the game no questions asked.

I must say it's a pretty awesome game
