Sounds like a rather brash spin off from the popular New Scientist books, but no doubt still a cracking read!

I got:

>Money
>Mario Galaxy (Did not bring my Wii home with me from university. A foolish move on my part)
>Assassins creed (Again, same foolish descisions were made leaving me xboxless)
>Some Dvds (Complete series of Black Adder and Band of brothers.)
>Warm Clothes
>Aftershave
>Many o' boxes of sweeties and the likes
>A Guy Fawkes mask (from the film, V for Vendetta) from my friend, which is amazing because i've always wanted one.

And all sorts of random things.

Heres a question ones of the books ask,

Is there a reason your index finger fits perfectly into your ear, nostril and bumhole?

Yes, they are pretty funnny.

Got some more presents -
Dream Theater's Systematic Chaos
The Prose Edda
Njal's Saga
Hannibal Rising (DVD)

Pretty pleased actually - particularly with the books I've been getting - I know I'm going to enjoy Edda and The Origins of the Britons.

I got $25,000 USD in a scratcher! Unfortunately it was fake (The scratcher)....

Other than that, I got a new mousepad, and a 12-pack of soda.

Edit
Oh, and a self-assemble jet engine. Pretty cool, got it working in 1 night.

Cheers,

We had about 20 little kids at my Nana's place for Christmas, so I didn't expect anything obviously. My younger cousin got a 360 so we played Call of Duty 4 most of the day.

Let's see, I got some candy, an XBOX Live points card (1400), an iron for my wife (booooring yes, but practical), some different kinds of tea for work, one of those crazy puzzle games where you have to pull a wooden ball on a rope through a small hole, a $75 Future Shop gift card, and about $300 cash from my American relatives. Pretty good haul.

My wife is out right now spending the $300 on some Chanel Boxing Day sale-- purse or shoes or something like that

@ tha_rami: sux, I know how it is except different. my dad passed away a few years ago, which wouldn't have been so traumatic if hadn't taken several years to happen. fyi- he was sloly dying from a disease.

A new steering wheel, MP3: Corruption, SSX: Blur, a Surround System that doesn't actually seem to be surround, and a lot of smaller stuff like a £12 wi-fi router that has better range than the old £80 D-Link pile of junk I used to have.

Why does it seem that people are getting more than one "big present" as it were, like two consoles or an expensive phone and a console, some people must be bathing in money

I gots me a car (finally made my mind up and ended up going for the sporty reliable runaround), "mummy" bought me super mario galaxy, which i'm loving, Mission Impossible boxset and 300.

Booby present has to be the "Hi-Tec" socks i received from a distant relative.
