I made a small city deathmatch arena. I'm pretty sure it's ready to be playable, but I'm still sort of new at making games playable, soo here goes. Pic attached and download in next box.

Hey!
Those buildings look great.

A few tips:

Darken/or lighten (preferably darken) the ambience. Set it to around 4 for all colors, then manually lightmap where you have street lights, etc., because the dark ambience will add a depth to the city, that in reality isn't there, and will also improve the gameplay, and will make the player think "Wow, I want to explore!

Just a tip.

Also, give an entity a sound to admit (like one of those buildings, assuming those aren't segments) of a city ambience. Whether it's wind, or cars and people. That was also improve the ambience. Alot.

Good luck with this!

The buildings are not mine, they are made by user: kmkm, but hanks for the advice, AaronG. That would probably help the game be a better arena. Along with what you said, the darkness would make it harder to see players and the noises would make it easier to sneak up on them.

which is a good thing!
But, you would have to make the building dynamic, and multiplayer doesn't allow dynamic objects, so the sound can't be done, unless someone has another way.

Well, it is playable right now, but I will be making the suggested changes to the arena and I will set up another download location. Right now I'll be just running around trying to find errors so if anyone cares to download and join, we'll have a quick shootout.

street signs, street lights, cars ( mint condition or destroyed, preferably a mix ), sounds of wind and gunshots and screams(etc). make it seem like a really screwed up city

what doesn't kill me makes me stronger; but if something kills me, I'm not that strong am I?

Cool map so far. I love the buidlings and the adds in the shop windows.

If I could suggest something, maybe pt some rubish bins or benchchairs etc. out on thje street to break it up a bit and give some cover.

Well done so far, great work!
