have a feeling that this thread'll get locked...but oh well. just as the title says, does the Xbox 360 play burnt audio cds?

It'll play anything burned (DVDs, audio CDs, etc.) except burned games of course.

When the 360 plays DVDs, is it region free? (Just curious)

I *think* it's region free, but it will only play NTSC or PAL. AFAIK the only region-locked system is the Wii. I could be wrong and probably am.

I have an XBox and it plays burnt cds as longs as they are cd-rws.
Those cd-rs don't work with it.In the end it is cheaper for me to buy 5 cd-rws and use them repeatedly than to buy a boatload of cd-rs.
Of course the quality of the cd-rw might make a difference as Bargain Bin cd-rws are probably not as high quality as Memorex or Maxell or something like that.
Don't have a 360 yet.Still stuck in last gen.I have a PS3 want and an nes budget...

Please have mercy and use the search function.
