Hmm just one question....why do you use both Photoshop and Gimp?
Was just wondering...

Anyway if these are your first...that they are pretty good..
But i noticed that it isnt seamless...or at least it didnt looked seamless.

Alsy try to sharpen the textures a bit...it looks a bit pixelated.

But! you are doing a good job! keep it up.

Looking at the angles and pixilation, it looks like you blew up a small, in-game shot. It also looks like there were some letters/initials on the pic. What did you make this for, and why did you distort and blow it up? Interesting, but not useful for a game texture.

Best.

ye i did put logos on it too make it more authentic my plan is too make these sets so that they do not need to be seamless so that i can add more effects towards the games..if any one know what i mean so all the textures link with a huge seamless-ness
here a few diffrent pics

for example this texture links onto the next one but with diffrent (slighlty) lighting so i can megre the textures and shadows together perfect.

The texture looks like something from mass effect.

I've never seen anyone create textures that are highly pixelated in that manner (I know I don't). I also noticed on the first two screens (of the new ones), that there is a light source from the right. It looks like these were screengrabs from a game. I would like to see some screenshots of the texture when it isn't zoomed in, or pixelated.

I'm not going to throw around accusations for now; but you should know that many people here are quite adept at finding out whether someone's work is of their own creation.

I'll keep an eye on this thread.

windows98- Your not making a very good first impression on the forums mate. You should stop while you are ahead and start showing something that you have created. There are to many flaws in the images that you posted for me to list here but I think the light source and the fact that they are not centered says a thousand words by itself.

Regards,
Dave

maybe its becouse i enlarged the texture and stretched it i was working on them on around 500*500 and so and i doubled them and such i dont know i this would create the pixels to be like this....
maybe i should start enties instead.

If you enlarged the texture, then you can show the unaltered texture (original dimensions); that would clear things up somewhat. Enlarging the dimensions has the same effect as zooming in on it. Please post the original texture....unaltered. I've never seen someone create a a texture with an off-center light source. The texture is also slanted, or crooked.

If you can't produce the original "pre-enlarged" image, we may have problems.
