You need a valid CD!

That`s what I get after 30 days of enhancments. What valid CD do I need?

I have downloaded the enhancements pack and installed it, but the same thing still happens. How do I fix it and what is a valid CD?

You've probably just installed the 30 day trial enhancements by mistake. The full pack comes with the latest update anyway.

I have installed darkbasic from a cd. And the version is only 1.12, so you say, If I update to version 1.2, It will work?

yes, but you will have to wait for 1.2 because there was a bug in the installer...

My experience has been that version 1.12 and 1.13 don't have any significant differences. If you have 1.12 enhanced already, there's no need to upgrade to 1.13. I would uninstall DarkBASIC and reinstall it just using 1.12. Then wait for the rerelease 1.20. If you didn't have 1.12 enhanced and you downloaded the enhancement pack and it's giving you problems, contact support.

I think my finger slipped while typing. I have the version 1.13, not 1.12.
My DarkBasic isn`t enhanced. I`m a little confused now.
can someone explain?

I can`t remember where I got the enhancements from, but it was for free. So I installed it and updated DarkBasic with it. (But it didn`t work)
Then I heard of the enhancements that you have to pay for from the game-creators. So,

which one is the enhancements pack I need? (question 1)
Is there a way to upgrade to DarkBasic 1.2 without paying? (question 2)

Please inform me if a said or understood anything wrong...

O.K. I went to upgrades and it said, I should go to order history to upgrade to 1.2, but I havn`t downloaded anything at all. I bought DarkBasic on a CD that was on for special. What can I do?

I had the same problem as you do, in that i bought DBC, had 30 days of enhancements, and then the enhancements mysteriously went away...

Here is what happened to both of us. When you buy DBC, you get a free 30 day trial of the enhancement pack(v1.13) and then you have to get the enhancement pack online, but there was a problem in the 30 trial - When you download the free enhancement pack (v1.13) it doesn't realize that the 30 trial is only temporary, so it thinks you already have v1.13(enhancement pack) and licks you out of the installer.

The solution (drum roll please)



Get version 1.2.

The problem(one more drum roll)




There was a bug in 1.2's installer so you have to wait (like me) until the installer is fixed to get 1.2, which also has the commands that 1.13 would have given you plus a few more...
