Ok, I'm feeling helpful.

Instead of just suggesting you use Google - which contains pretty much the sum of all human knowledge (available in mere milliseconds I might add), I actually took some time to do a search:
http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/3DS-MAX/Modeling/1

read that, follow one you are interested in, and post back in a few months when you've got good enough (ie, you know the program functions like the back of your hand).

While your at it, I'd suggest you get some photoshop tutorials. Since you've obviously got the means to get expensive software such as Max, you can probably get that too.

A warning however - If you wish to be any good at this sort of stuff, it requires a keen mind and some degree of persistence. It's taken me 3 years to get moderately good at both programs. You'll also need an creative mind, it is much like sculpting and painting.

3d design is an art form that requires care and skill in order to produce results that people will just sit back and think 'wow', so make sure you are capable of putting the effort in, and good luck.
