Dark GDK / Failed to get device caps

First time user of Dark GDK, needing a little help.

Installation went smooth, needed to install latest Graphics Accelerator driver from Intel and set Full Acceleration. After that, DirectX Diagnostics passes everything fine.

All demos work. Except one thing: when running a program (game) a run-time error message comes up: "Failed to get device caps."

Hitting OK, the program runs fine. Disabling and re-enabling Direct3D (as per MSN) does not fix the problem.

Any info/suggestion?
