Nice newsletter as usual
I was a bit put off by this though...

Quote: "work is already being carried out on the conversion of Dark A.I, Dark Lights and of course Dark Physics. The current plan is to make these available to GDK users by the end of January, and the team will be striving to meet that deadline. Following this, the .NET version of the GDK will be the focus of development."

so the dgdk.net which was supposed to be released in Jan 2008, is now not being started until "maybe" the end of jan 2008? Do I have that right?

Thanks.

Will people with the dbpro version of dark physics have to pay for the darkgdk version, or will it appear in their orders?

December is quiet all round, there was nothing to report for DX9, other than the re-release of Model Pack 8 (which is fantastic by the way).

I'm also interested in if the .NET Version of the DGDK release info.

I've stopped any development of my current project until this new version gets released.

jasuk70, I wouldnt stop devel if I were you. in the least, the code will be totally portable to the new version, regardless of any "additions" or "layers" being added, if any And in grand tgc fashion, who knows how long the release is going to take.

just mho however...

If new ways are being done to "Objectise" it then I will prefer to use these as a basis of coding rather than the way it currently is. Currently got other things to get on with anyway so can wait.
