No it doesn't it just means he must have found it in September 3 years ago and got it for christmas that year. Making him 12/13 by his timeline like Benjamin said.

You're really quite an articulate typer. I have a brother that age, and he's awful at typing. Or was. Actually, the last time I saw him he was doing pretty good... in fact he wrote a short story I could have mistaken for a professional novelist. Geeze, the older you get, the more you forget how much you could do when you were younger.

And I'm not even old yet.
