I just finally reinstalled DBP onto my new computer, updated to the latest version, but when I double click any source files (dba or dbpro) it just opens a blank window. I have to use the open menu and select the files from there.

Make sure it's being opened with the launcher (Launch.exe in the main DBP folder) rather than the editor (editor.exe in the Editor folder).

I did, I deleted the association and manually set the dba/dbpro to the launcher, didn't seem to help. Wasn't there an unofficial uprade patch somewhere? I know I had it installed on the old computer, maybe that'll fix something.

I bet if you use CodeSurge or something it would work ^_^

I had the same problem. Changed it to start with editor.exe instead, and it works.

That should have been fixed by 6.5 or higher. I still have the registry file for fixing it though, as long as you installed to the default place - it's attached.

I almost changed the install directory, then remember that there was something that I used at one point that didn't like it. So yea, I have it in the default.

Ran your registry update, it imported ok but hasn't fixed the problem. I switched it to the editor and dba files load now, but dbpro still won't.
