For my new game I made a movie of my game. Its a network news that executor introduses a killer that there is in the city and police want to tail him. (the killer is main player). So in the level I need to this script :
- When everybody see the player , player lose the mission.
I think that this script is easy and there is.

Well... if all you want to have happen is that when an entity SEES the player, then it's an instant game over, try this script out:

save that script and give it to all your enemies in their MainAI.

I bet it would be most effective if you add in some script code to allow them to follow waypoints. Just copy and paste the waypoint code from another script.

Good Luck!!!

You know what would make the game hard? Setting the character's view range to about 220. Give the AI this script as their main, like Plystire said, and forcing the player through waves upon waves of enemies, trying to stay hidden.

...very interesting idea...being a killer on the run, with the world looking out for you.

Maybe only the police seeing you would mean an instant game over.

What if the killer's bloodlust is so strong that he simply must kill innocents to stay alive?

Hmmmn. Has some potential.

Thanks,

Seth Black

How about showing us your scripts for the characters. What you have been given works, but we don't really know how you're using it.

Best.

He has the colon in the wrong place when it should have been a comma.

It should be...

:condition,condition:action

Try this instead...

                  :state=0,plrcanbeseen:plraddhealth=-9999

If you are using FPSC X10, then replace plrcanbeseen with isdarkaiseeing and it should work.

Hey Seth....you just gave me an idea. How would you incorporate that into a specific type of character script, like you said with the police? Just copy a script used by a character and add that line?
