I'm not expecting this to get much attention with all the amazing WIPs around here, but I thought I'd post my current project here.

It's called Spinzers, and it's a pretty basic ball racing game. It's written in DBP. Here's my current features/goals:

Movement (using Dark Physics): 100%
Menu: 80%
2P Split Screen: 100%
Levels: 20%
Item Pickups: 0%

I've got most of the base done, I just have to add the ability to pickup items and finish the menu, then I'll work on some more levels. Here are some screens of what I've got so far:

Main Menu 1:

Main Menu 2 - Player Color Select:

Gameplay 1:

Gameplay 2:

The level you see there is just a test level, and the sky box isn't permanent. Comments are appreciated. After I've made it resolution-independant, I'll release a demo.

That looks like it could be quite funny to be honest, A simple yet effective game!

Looks nice, but it also looks like you need to take a look at the 'set camera aspect' command

@Diggsey:

Thanks very much for pointing that out, I've fixed it.

Like said, appears simple but effective!

The level look quite empty, nevertheless I expect it to be fun to play, especially in multiplayer if there is one. (Edit: And as tha_rami pointed out there is one )

Mr Kohlenstoff: Would 'player 1' or 'player 2' in those screenshots mean anything?

It might be an AI-opponent. OK, the splitscreenmode would be pretty senseless then. Nevermind.

Haha, ya it's multiplayer using AWSD and the arrowkeys. The leve is just to get my the movement and what not working right, However, I'm having a problem: If the ball is travelling at a high speed and collides with the map, Dark Physics doesn't detect it. Is there any way to fix that?

Looks nice. I don't know about Dark Physics. Maybe you should make a thread in the Dark Physics forum. If it's speed related, i'm guessing that maybe you need to reduce the physics timestep. I think the way these things can work is to move the object, then check for collision- so a ball should move by steps less than it's size in order for the engine to pick up collisions with stuff.

Finish! Finish! Finish!

My girlfriend wants me to add a penguin. She uses Ubuntu, so why not:
