YouTube it. Or know what, don't even bother.

Come on, try harder on this. The water doesn't look like water, whatever is floating in that spoon after it dips into the blue something is unclear to me, the overlaid effect is terrible and where the heck did that green come from so suddenly?

Such intros need to be smooth, flashy and at least have a logo instead of plain text...

ok...

first, the water was not suposed to look like water its part of the effect. SMUDGE STICK.

also, the thing in the spoon is just a rotating cube, it does not matter what it is.
I am sorry about the green though, im color blind, did not know it was green, it must be realy bright because it looked like a lighting flash to me.

working on logos still

ill try to make another, sorry you where dissapointed

No, I'm not disappointed, I'm just thinking: if you want this to be your trademark intro, the thing that preceeds all your games... why not put a little more time & effort in it?

If you're colorblind, get someone to pick the colors for you. It's amazing you can be in a visual community like this - thumbs up for that .

Actually I've seen much cheezier looking intro videos. Some intro videos are very lame, and I actually like this one. Sure, it doesn't look "next-gen" but that's not always important.

You know colorblind people still see color and can make art

But anyways, I'd like to see some ripple effects on the water.

Also, if you find you have trouble finding the right color, I know they make software out there specifically for the colorblind, I'd do a google search.

It's not great.

Reasons:

1. The framerate is awful.
2. The texturing is very basic.
3. The fluid does not respond to the spoon (no wave action).
4. The scene is stagnant, put in some camera movement.
5. Jazz up the text, use some lenseflares or something.
6. The spoon doesn't have any holes in it, yet the fluid seems to leak out.

I don't like giving a bad review, but you did ask for criticism, so I hope this helps

:/

Don't use lensflare ever to perk up a video, unless you're staring into the sun.

Lol, yeah ok I take back the lensflare thing, I was just saying the text needs something to spice it up. Lenseflare was a poor choice of effects, I'd like to change it to... (*shakes magic 8-ball)... bloom, yeah that's it, bloom.

Yes, for this year we need something different. Like BOOM. lot's of mid-90's explosions is what this intro needs. The spoon have to explode into tiny ...yellow cubes that rotate and ....explodes. Then the whole screen explodes and the game commences. It will be beautiful.

Sirfire, thanks for the comments, although there are no textures on the models.

that is something i will add in though
you are right about the spoon though, it should have either a hole in it or keep the water inside it.
the problem with the water ripples is that im not that good of a modeler, and i did all this in GS lite and windows movie maker.
maby if i bring it into DBP i could make better effects.
i also agree with the bloom though, to old school.
Grandma, im not so sure the explosions are quite what it needs, ever seen the south park intro where they use the 3d effects then do all that cheesy explosion's stuff? it looks horible.
we need to make a new kind of effect, one the world has never seen and is totally sweet

I think he was being silly.

The Purest Green?

If you dip the spoon into the water, you can model the water that would stay there when you remove the spoon using a flat plain in the shape of the spoon:
