Here's a random Mountain Pack.
EDIT:
Nothing special
, yet may come in handy for some game makers. This was intended as a free mountain mesh pack only. I then remade the files for a fpsc ready pack, however I had the missing textures show up on the final pack.
As this was intended as Mesh pack, my advice is retexture the mountains using your own ground or other textures in your game to blend everything together. Also Mountains look ok with no lighting, adding lights near by can produce visible unwanted polys. I also included a tips text file.
*Use them as you like, License included. Resize, Retexture is fine. just no resale.
UPDATEI think I just found the problem with the 1st DL, MagicFPS creates a TextureBank folder. So after I added one of the file sets for 1 model back into my MagicFPS folder. The texture showed back up within the editor.
Here is an idea that may work with the 1st download. However I couldnt really test it, having magicfps already installed etc.
*if anyone has magicfps. Move all the files into your Magicfps EntityBank folder/ Objects folder.
ENTITYBANK / MAGICFPS / OBJECTS folder.
and then copy all the desired texture files (.tga/.dds) and paste in your
TEXTUREBANK / MAGICFPS folder.
*users without MagicFps could allways try to recreate the folder directorys to see if it works.
Random pic throwing a heap together.
*As I have made a few, everything in this picture is not included with the download.
This pic was at 33fps, however please dont think this is possible all the time, large outdoor areas have lots of problems. A single Mountain should not reduce fps (depending on level of course). Also adding a heap together like this can also give unwanted effects. So make sure if you use 1 or a few together and make sure to place and join your segment flooring the best you can to improve collision etc.
Included Mesh in Meshpack DL, picture.
enjoy.
