Matrix is a rectangular grid of numbers, but that's probably not what you are asking for, right? Unfortunately i'm not sure what you are up to.

You should check out the DBClassic Demo - free online - and see the cave runner demo - it has code pretty compatible to DarkGDK once you get past the BASIC to C++ stuff. Seriously I mean this - it will show how to use a matrix, and then you can take that know how to DarkGDK and give it a go there.
