Hey all,

I am trying to execute a program from a dbpro application and when the program starts, the dbpro application should close. What I tried to do is execute the program and wait 2 seconds, then end the dbpro application. But the problem is that it does not work on slower machines because the dbpro application seem to need more time to execute the program. Nothing happens unless I increase the wait time to 20 seconds. But then on faster machines the dbpro application hangs around for way too long. Besides this method does not guarantee that it will work on even slower machines... I was wondering if there is a way that I can loop a check to see if the program I execute is running and if so then close the dbpro application.

Try this. Your notepad executable may be in a different location.
This will hide the DBP window, while it is ending.
