Few weeks ago, I finally installed DBP onto my new PC (its been whiped clean from the old computer). Had some trouble with the editor for those that remember. But I've caught something else now. Even though I've activated my copy twice now, it says I have to click this icon to upgrade from the trial version. Clicking it does nothing at all however even if I try.

Phaelax,
Do you have the download version or CD version?

If you ahve the CD version, then go to your start menu and go to "Activate from DBpro CD" found under the DBpro area.

If you have the online version, then go to your DBpro/compiler folder and run the TGConline.exe. You should then be able to enter your order key and authenticate.

I believe he has activated. There is a bug in the startup of DBPro where that message is displayed for everyone but it usually flashes off pretty quickly. One of the last patches did it. In a recent bug post, IanM thinks it was to do with trial plugins but from what I have read it looks like it's just a silly screen bug and can be ignored. So long as your compiled exe does not have the pyramid logo watermark on it, then activation must have been successful.

Boo!

I have the CD version, bought from RGT. I have the latest patch and it does flash up rather quickly.

Hey, Phaelax

Same thing happens to me, probably for the last couple of months. I wouldn't worry about it, I have the CD, and this stupid trial activation thing still comes on. You don't have the trial, don't worry about it.

sorry about the small picture, you can still tell the text for trial is there.
