Hi People

I have just found C++ & Dark GDK, i have been using the 3d world creator and wanted to know if i create a large map with tonnes of building etc in it, how would i load this into Dark GDK.

Would i save the entire thing as a dbo, .X file etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

I didn't work with 3d world creator, but if it can save your world into .x file, you can load it very easily with GDK. However, it is likely that the performance will ne poor.

yeah you might not want to do it all as one object because you might want to individually check for collision, and if all the buildings have the same object number because they are the same object, then that would be very hard.
