Tom - checkout my link above to the Drupal Planet.

Basically we can give the Drupal Aggregator module a bunch of RSS feeds and it can present a page like that. Its sort of a "home for information about a topic" type site.

The drupal planet one is great because, as a Drupal fanboi, its gives me a kind of homepage for any information about Drupal. The Planet is also moderated so if someone posts anything considered inappropriate then they get removed (temporarily or permanently) from the planet (so to speak).

Ah, I get it. The idea sounds good in theory but it really depends on how many people have TGC related RSS feeds on their sites, TGC themselves don't have an RSS feed for news and such (they tend to just use the monthly newsletter) so it may be hard to find content for the Aggregator

(edit: also I just gave the TGC site a 5/5 but for some reason the rating went to Silver Dawn - the site below - instead)

Thats odd - thanks for pointing it out. Will investigate. It might be because I tried packing the Javascript - will put it back to normal.

Well, you can see the new site as well as the spot that the webring link would go in (Affiliates section):

http://www.blackdracogames.com

So when you guys have settled on a definite home, let me know; also let me know what graphic I need to use (or can we make our own?).

KeithC: Nice site, although a little image heavy if I may say so... Once you have factored in all the image hover effects, the frontpage is over 900Kb!

Yep; I do like my graphics. Don't worry though; I'll be tweaking things over the coming months. Eventually I'll have a new site built (though I think I'll keep the theme/style I made), when I start learning how to build a website properly.
