Hi my name is Johnny. I am founder of San Angelo Games. I have been learning PHP and have found it to be useful. I am now working on getting a hosting service together where developers can not only host their content, but also manage their teams. I would love some help on this if anyone would be will to do so. I am currently not 'real' good at PHP at the moment but I have managed to do some things.

Currently Done or working on:
Secure Login
Composing Messages (%50)
Project Management
Calender
FTP Upload
Logout

Now this is still a work in progress but I would love if people could help me out with a basic structure or so to speak table of contents of the website. In the future I would like to host a team or two that I see would be good candidates for putting it to the test. After working the kinks out, I will be able to host maybe more teams.

Disclaimer:
I am not saying that I am going to host just any team. Those that I see that have the potential of finishing the game I will most likely host. The team will have to specify how much space they need and I will try to accommodate as best I can. Also, if the future permits, this will be a free service. The only thing I ask in return is feedback, help, and some mentioning in the game about the hosting.

To my fellow developers,
Thanks for your help,
Johnny.

I am sorry that I am trying to be nice and help out some people. I thought this was a community, a place where people can get together and discuss ideas. Do not pass judgment on my thought of helping others. If you don't have anything helpful to say, don't post at all and let it die, other wise help out.

@Moderators: Please if you may, move this to Geek Culture. I guess I have put it in the wrong board.

that's the point, and i'm pretty sure you knew it was the wrong board (you've been on the forum longer than me. you must have seen more of this activity than i have, i'm guessing).

no qualms with you "trying to be nice" but when you (and others) continue to solicit, er, "be nice" on the wrong boards, it doesn't exactly help the community.

moreso, the ad you posted a few weeks back (http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=117501&b=7) was resonded to, with advice. i've been to your website (back then, and now) and there is still "nothing" there. adding a handfull of links to some of the most-commonly known resources isn't really a reason to visit, is it? are the "Secure Login" and "Logout" functions the highlight?

i know i'm going overboard on this, but atleast understand that some users here don't appreciate your approach to "helping" them. then again, i'd bet you already knew that.

edit: i love this line, from your website's About,

Quote: "Forums is the first approach that is implemented in this web site. Forums allow us to talk to each other using topics that are categorized by boards."

Well now I have some stuff up if anyone wants to join in on the fun. I have agile development software to help people manage their teams, I have blogs, Image galleries, and an ad service! Check and try it out.

It seems to be in the right board right now maybe a mod moved it?
Anyway, didn't you post this in Geek Culture as well?

well this is a different post. Yes it is similar but different at the same time. this is the one where I am working on programming myself. the other is where I have found programs to do it for me so I don't have to so I go ahead and tell people it's their if they want to use it.
