Hi everybody, I just want to ask about something thats been bugging me (insanely) over the past few weeks, you see...

I just built a new computer, specs:

AMD Athlon 3400+ (Waiting on my new processor)
DFI Lanparty nf4 ultra-d motherboard
350 watt power supply (Yeah waiting on that too)
2GB corsair RAM (well 1gb corsair then 1gb summin else)
and a really nice windowed case (but thats irrelevant lol)

Anyway everytime I turn it on all the fans in my machine just go really fast and make a horrible loud noise.

The screen doesnt come on and it just does that until I force it off. The only way I can turn it on is by resetting the cmos with the jumper.

Anybody have any ideas on whats wrong??

Any help will be greatly appreciated (like I mean it I'll worship you! lol)

Thanks...

Waiting for new processor and power supply? What's in there now then?

What does manual say for 4 error leds.

I have just built my new pc which has an MSI motherboard and 4 red leds means cpu not fitted properly, but 4 leds on yours probably means something different.

I would also say a 350 watt supply is probably not enough, specially with a Geforce 8 card and powerful cpu.

Boo!

Well, mate, if you don't have a processor or power supply, how will the computer run?

Yeah, this makes as much sense as a garden gnome building a house.

You got me wrong, I have a processor and PSU, but they were outdated, anyway a new processor fixed the problem.
