I've been using the FPSC blood decal in Geisha House for a while now, but I've always hated how it looks. It's almost right, but not quite. So, I made a replacement.

Copy it here to use it in place of the default blood decal...

C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files\gamecore\decals\blood

but be sure to backup your old one. Download...

Glad you guys like it. I'll probably make a couple more for variety. I've found that FPSC is limited in its handling of decals - you can't specify the frame delay, which I find odd, so all of the decals I make might not look good in FPSC. I'll only post the good ones.

@General powell11 -
Your're just having all kinds of problems. Not sure what to tell you, it's in the same format. Was the decal you replaced it with the correct decal? Also, it's not possible for white lines to be around the pixels of the decal unless the transparency mode in FPSC was altered which isn't likely.

Keep the decal spec, it only defines where to appear on impact.

Well, there would be lots of issues rendering decals on models. You'd have to use blend mapping because a regular decal stuck onto the model would look terrible, as it wouldn't conform to the model's shape. Blend mapping would require reconstruction of the texture along with the new decal image data through the use of memblocks. It's possible, but not easy by any means.

I'm glad you like the decal
