now how would i get the ball to move ive tryed everything i can think of first day of using :/

how would i move a sphere like if i press up it moves or it moves by itself how would i do that

any ideas?

Asking such basic questions indicates that you'd rather ask here than actually do some some work yourself.

This inevitably attracts flames so I'm going to lock this to prevent you getting an ear bashing.

BEFORE asking any more silly questions try the following:

1. When you are running DarkBASIC press the F1 key. READ!

2. Use the forum search (found at the bottom of every page).

3. Locate the tutorials linked to by Yodaman. READ!

Try to show you have at least attempted to solve a problem before asking for help.
