Nice one. Now tonight just get totally wasted. After all that stress then will totally help.

Actually I remember once going to the doctor with a problem and as I waited in the waiting room I started reading all the posters. After a while I was convinced I had Diabetes. I had 4 of the 5 symptoms dead on and the 5th one was debatable (and you don't have to have all 5 to have diabetes...). Doctor actually said Diabetes first of all too. In the end turned out to be a Urinary infection and not Diabetes at all. Annoying stressful posters...

That hurt. Sorry for your loss and hope you´ve leared to live with it. Both my parents are still alive, so I do not really know how it feel, but I can imagine that it´s hard but that you eventually learn to live with it.

Hi Dextro.

My mum was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, ooh, maybe 10 - 15 years ago. She still has it to this day.

But, it's managable.

She has monthly transfusions, about 3-4 drip bags of special blood with boosted white cell count.

She lives a normal, fairly active life.

It's not the end of the world and she hasn't had any chemotherapy.
She obviously has to be careful of not catching illness's, cold and flu's ect because her immune system is weakened.

All the best.

Good to hear. Don't know if any of you have seen the show House MD, but it reminds me of an episode where they're trying to figure out what's wrong with someone, and it turns out there's 2 things wrong instead of one (one also being CMV iirc)

Congrats, it's a shame you're ill, but seeing what it could have been makes you appreciate how lucky you are. All the best and get well and enjoy your time off! It's a shame when you're ill but when the doctor says you should take time off of something you can only take advantage of it. No doubt if you're a gamer you'll find comfort by sitting on the sofa with a quilt and a 9 hour work out of console training.

Glad it wasn't as something as bad as it could have been.

It takes blood and guts to be this cool, but I'm still just a cliche
