I am in a deep state of meditation and comtemplation (believe it or not)on whether to part with some of my hard earned cash to go buy a large box of popcorn and watch the new AVP. I was wondering if anyone here has seen it and would they make a recommendation for a very very bored english teenager or a warning?

better than the first AVP, sucks compared to the Alien and Predator films.

Basically, it has an extremely basic story,
and it resorts to killing children and pregnant women on-screen, to attempt to get that horror feel.....

The writer has an amazing knack of making someone say something, then the oppposite happens 30 seconds later,e.g. "this is suicide!!"(They live.) "Keep your fingers on the trigger and we'll be fine."(They die.)Or



I give it 3/10, compared to 5 for the 1st one.....

From what I've read they seem to have taken on board the fact the first one could be seen by kids and gone completely the other way around. Massively the other way round. Could have done with something in the middle... Say *just* like "Aliens".... that would be fine...

And would be nice if they followed the novels. That was more like it.

Worst entry into either franchise. Terrible.

Human storyline has NOTHING to do with anything. Why, WHY do we need to know about the rubbish love triangle with girl and bully and stuff??!?!?

It's not scary, its not funny, its not interesting and its not cool. Terrible fight scenes, no tension.

And for god's sake the Predalien looks exactly like Predator. Gay gay gay.

A truly terrible film, honestly. They throw in some original sound effects and expect to please fans. Avoid.

Its alright for a laugh, they still butchered avp compared to the original alien and predator films. There is a game and many books they could have got their ideas from yet they still come up with this... well, poor comedy basically. Still I think its better than the first AVP film. I would not recommend paying over £1 to see it though.

Think they should release another aliens movie based on the hive books, they were cool

Yeah, the books were tops. What is wrong with muppet people in Holywood???? Is like Terminator 3. Brilliant few books around based after T2 giving amazing ideas, and they come up with that rubbish. Grief. Meh...
