I was just reading that DBpro supports height maps? I've used these before with A5, and was wondering if someone has some more info on this? What graphics formats are supported? I.e. bmp, jpg etc..

And is there an example of loading one?

o_O ok...

MAKE TERRAIN
This command will create a new terrain object using the specified Heightmap file. A heightmap file is a
simple image file that contains a greyscale representation of the landscape heights. The image file must
contain an image with identical width and height, and ideally be a resolution equal or greater than 256
colours. Additional parameters control the size and detail of the terrain.

SYNTAX
MAKE TERRAIN Terrain Number, Heightmap Filename

Thanks for the help. Once I get Darkbasic pro in the mail I'll stop asking all these questions. Well, I'll stop asking obvious questions anyway..

=P I think the dbcodebase (link over at darkbasic.com) has another couple heightmaps in it... just normal code... so you don't need pro if you have classic... I still prefer the coded ones ...
