It's been awhile and I finally decided to get a youtube account and upload some vids on my pc. I ran into this one I had forgotten about for a while in a misc. folder. I did a little re-work and now I've put it on youtube.
You have a look!

You should add a warning that you have basicaly added parts of the end cut scene of the game in your film.

Thanks BiggAdd, I had feared before though that if doing so... some might not watch... but I've reached an impasse and am now editing my post above.

*Also you didn't tell me how good it was. Did it suck that bad?

No - it was pretty nice. Bad thing is you reuse a lot of content. I recommend you try and cut down the length of the music, or find additional footage.

I only reused the two dead guys like 3 times, to show the emptiness inside the dead bodies... if you get me. That's the only reason I reused those parts. Also notice why RAAM is in there and when. I re- use his appearance because they sing "..So Cold..." and I'm guessing the Locust are cold blooded adn him being in that shot at that time means a lot in a visionary sense. Think people, it's really just a metaphorical thing. Thanks for your comment!

*Edit: Also the reuse of Marcus talking in the building... hes suppose to be singing the song in the video... also Baird joins in a little way to tell Marcus not to cry if he sees his family. Just thought it would make it better.

Sorry forgot to add that part.
It was alright. I agree with Tha_Rami about the length and the reuse of content. It was a little too long, which can be hard to cut down when using a music track.

If you can get your hands on a sound editor, you can cut a chunk out of the music (from start of chorus to start of chorus).

Also try to link together the events in the clips, to make a sort of a story, at the moment its just a bit of a clip show.

Other than that it was alright. Keep up the good work!

Especially Marcus and the dead bodies annoyed me. Sorry, they didn't get their meaning across at all. As soon as you need to explain stuff about a video, the video needs work.

Nicely put.

I also didn't catch the Marcus singing along to the music in the video. Sorry.

Alright... understood. I also have a sound editor. I can go ahead and make a 2nd version cut down. And well there is a story. It's mainly taking place at the end and a few flashbacks of the events before are lingering. "Show me how it ends, its alright...." Takes place at ending. It's really more for deep thinking people. I'll fix it though and upload version 2 soon hopefully.

I watched this because I like that song, and actually your video is more relevant than the actual Breaking Benjamin-So Cold video, based on the lyrics...

anyway, I liked it. one suggestion is to maybe time video the ending better with the the music, instead of it running on in silence. Like, move the video up a little by eliminating something earlier in the video. Maybe a spot ot two where you reused video clips. Also, the beginning, when the music is still moody and soft, try not to have hi paced fighting scenes, while the music is still sleepish

Anyway, good job

Honestly, that's absurd to say. Like with nearly any game, I know the story, I played the game endless times, I analyzed every part of the game, the story and I did the same thing to your video and if you need me to be a bit harsher: it still doesn't make a real lot of sense. You need to work on it. Fix the desyncs, the double footage, match the video to the music (like CR said, don't put heavy fights during moody music) and maybe V2 will make some sense.

You won't make friends by merely assuming things about people. At least not with me.

I wasn't trying to assume anything. Don't get me wrong. I just thought maybe others would see something I did. Will fix soon. I did take only 2 hours though. Maybe I shouldn't rushed. I'll be sure to fix it guys. Thanks for your imput.

Sorry tha_rami for my comment.

No problem, ASTEK. My apologies too. I got a little carried away there. I'll be sure to take a good look at version 2 and its a good start for sure (endlessly better than most vids that just slam a vid over some music, this one actually appears to be thought out, now just work on that execution)!

I'm currently building a newer version. I will take off the older one as soon as opinions are made to which one is better. I've also cut the video down 30 sec to insure no unneeded reuse of film. Marcus is no longer "singing" but when you do watch and when it comes to RAAM for the final time... read his lips, I should have timed it right. I've also made it tell the story, like others wanted. It should be uploaded in 30 minutes. PLEASE RANK!
