some of you may have seen the youtube videos, i thought they were pretty cool, but having just watched the 3rd in the series, i'm totally amazed:

http://www.cs.cmu.edu/%7Ejohnny/projects/wii/

i'm on about the 3rd one: "Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the Wii Remote"

im now just thinking non stop about how awesome it'd be for next-gen FPS's, or applications such as google earth. he say's there a Wii library he used to do it, this means it's possible to write a wrapper for dbp right? if that was the case, i'd pay good money for such a plugin, and then go out and buy a wii, so if anyones looking for a business idea, there it is.

I would pay through the nose for a full fledged wii-mote wrapper. For sure. I wish I could code my own.

How many times are we gonna have this posted here? Can't we just keep one thread going?

And if someone revived one of those old threads you or someone else would probably complain just the same soo... Pick the lesser of 2 evils.

Those 3 videos is nothing new so I wonder why there's even anyone posting about it again. How about making a post in DLL Talk instead?

@Agent Dink, maybe if either of those two threads were actually old. Personally I wouldn't complain if someone rezzed an old thread to add to it, beats me having to type out my response again .
