Fahrenheit? Last Saturday = yikes! But we were experiencing very cold weather here as well. I hate it. Today felt almost "warm" at 21F

The temperature here in Glasgow isn't that bad actually, mainly because it's so cloudy, which it has been for about 3-4 weeks or so, and constant rain. I havent seen the sky in ages.

We're supposed to get some rain though this weekend from what I heard on the radio, with around 32 to 33 degrees for the high. I can take that

Let's see, highs around 45-50ish, but it's getting rather cool tonight -- feels like a storm is blowing in.

You should all move out here to Arizona (actually, please don't, lol)

I've never experienced the temperature below 0 degrees except in a walk-in freezer. I feel like I've missed out on something.

You guys who say its cold have never lived in Winnipeg! We get up to -50 degrees Celcius throughout the winter regularly. Basically, that means that any uncovered skin will suffer from frostbite within 5 minutes.

Well all that cold air is funneled into Minnesota haha! We have gotten much worse than -41 for the average. Heck on average Minnesota gets colder than Siberia in the winter.

Yeah, I know, I'm feeling the chill too. Sometimes it barely gets above 15c (59f) in the middle of the day. Brrrr...

It's usually -45f\-7c here now, that's not cold. I remember a few winters back when it was almost at the Winnipeg mark. I live in south-west norway though, the more hot location. If i were to move all the way up north, things will get quite different.

Last year I saw British people sunbathing on the beach in Paphos on boxing day. Ok that was a bit much at about 18c (64.5f) but you get different levels here in december/january. At the top is the russians who I've seen walking around in shorts and no top, then there is the British holiday makers who are sunbathing, then there is the British ex-pats who are walking on the path by the beach wearing jeans and t-shirts (no jacket), then you have the local Cypriots who are dressed up with fur coats, gloves, scarves, you name it. In the middle of the day.

Cheers

The heat's somehow different in a country that's supposed to be hot. Here, in England, a hot day feels like sitting under a studio light. Baking just one side of you. Italy in the summer feels like radiant heat... bliss. That's about my limit, though.

It wasn't that cold today, the sun was shining enough for warmth - plus the days are getting longer. Though I just went out there, and it was freezing (39F according to my FF toolbar...dunno why it's in Fahrenheit, but it's one of the many mysteries of FF toolbars) but mind you, it's dark outside.

It takes blood and guts to be this cool, but I'm still just a cliche

Yeah, it was warmer than it has been. It was freezing at 7AM this morning though.
