i was just wondering when i get DB do i need bolth or one or what plez help id like to get it as soon as poible

they are 2 seperate programs. they both run independantly

DBC was the first version of Dark Basic - V1 if you like.

DBPro is Dark Basic V2 - essentially V1 with lots more commands and advanced features plus it runs a lot faster.

Maybe DBPRO is you best bet, if you want to make commercial quality games. For home use, try DBC.

If you just want to learn programming and maybe making a cool and fun game, get DBC.
If you want a commercial quality game that should run very fast (probably and RPG, but DON'T make an MMORPG), get DBPro.
As TDK said, they're two different programs.
