Hi, I've of course have a project I'm working on. I'm merely looking for suggestions on the type of collision I should use so that the player won't get close to the skysphere.

I have a video of the movement here.

(It's a jet moving around the skysphere, goes into a stall, and comes down. Do not know how I managed to avoid the floor on the fall... even more so when there is no collision at the momment.)

If at first you dont succeed, LOWER YOUR STANDARDS.

you could:

1) move the skysphere with the player/plane

2) monitor the distance between player and center of the skysphere (see intersect object). if it gets into whatever threshhold you decide is "too high"/far, don't let the plane go any higher/have it stall

3) have a hidden (or subtle/atmo-) sphere set to whatever radius you desire and check for collision against it.
