Insufficient information to help.

Is your matrix texture image 1) a single 1024x1024 texture mapped onto the matrix or 2) a 1024x1024 texture containing a grid of smaller textures?

I've used both before with no problem, but without any code to see it's difficult to know where the problem could be.

hi tdk iam dividing it by 8.
------------------------------------------------
make matrix 1, terrainX#,terrainz#,mapX ,mapZ
prepare matrix texture 1,main_ground_texture,8,8
set matrix 1,0,0,1,2,1,0,1
SET MATRIX TRIM 1,0.124,0.124
fill matrix 1,0,1
randomize matrix 1,98
gosub matrix_normals
update matrix 1

----------------------------------
the thing iam thinking about is some kind of memory issue?
as it have worked but dosent anymore.
works fine in the game engine but not in the editor untill i resize the main texture to 512x512.
i run both programs in windowed mode.
and if i run the matrix editor before the engine prg.
so will the engine prg get the same fault.
so there must be something that is left in memory?

i havent runed the code for about 7 months because of time issues.
and have checked all the image files as i thought it could be an corrupted image file?
