I can run Vista on my PC from 2001, and it runs faster than my XP, which I recently removed due to it wasting my hard drive space.
1. Mac's interface
Sure it looks good, if you like grey and ugly. I gotta be honest there, the Mac interface looks like it's from an old computer, and I am talking about the latest one (The Leopard interface I believe, if not I apologize). I prefer the Windows XP interface to the Mac interface on any day, and I prefer the Vista interface to both. That's just my preference though, and an opinion.
2. PCs powerhouse
Well at least our computers are more powerful and contain MUCH more programs. Our architecture (x86 AND x86-64) is much more supported (The Macs use the PPC last I checked). I mean, good luck finding a PPC assembler (Though ARM is harder to find). I don't even think the PPC supports 64-bit! I know my x86-64 will run quicker than most the Mac computers I've seen, and it definitely costs less.
3. Vista
You either like it or you don't, you obviously aren't going to be able to persuade someone into liking it or not if they already do or don't.
I'll be enjoying my DirectX 10, superior memory manager, and amazingly boundless resources for programming for them all (Though with difficulty testing DirectX 10 without a DX 10 card which I soon hope to get).

Sorry no. But from my understanding the Windows Media Center themes are just images stored in a folder (I'll have to check into that). If that's true you should be able to set them to your Mac theme.

With any luck you'll be able to turn a fully functioning program to a crashing program with just a little bit of coding.
