Have you seen the move Equilibrium? I think it was made
around the UK. This is a very good move its like the matrix,
but i dont think it got enough attention.
i think the matrix 2 copeyed some parts in this move.
if you seen it could you tell me what you think?

I heard about it and that it was a good film, but I haven't gone to see it yet. It's "Movie" instead of "Move" almost got it right , no worries!

The movie was nice, but not nearing Mx2. There are alot of movies out there that copied the style of the first Matrix and they made it look good:

The One, Shaolin Soccer, Charlie's Angel, etc etc.

So its not really surprising that Equilibrium borrowed from there and made them better

(Solidz - big fan of Mx2 - been 6 times to the cinema)

6 times! You're quite mad and obviously got too much cash.

Glad to see Stelios finally opened his first easyCinema in Milton Keynes. You can watch most films for 20p! X-Men2 is only around 50 or 60p!!!! Just need a few in London. It costs 10-12 pounds to watch a film in Leicester square.

Don't do drugs kids. There is a time and place for everything. It's called college.

The matrix itself is not entirely an original idea ... the Wachowski's brothers themselves have admitted ripping off Japanese anime, Kung Fu action movies, and comic books to put together Matrix.

equilibrium is the film! low budget and still almost as good as the matrix the reason why it didn't get enough attention was because it wasn't showin in any theaters, maybe shown only in the UK but i'm not entirely sure.

They invented this new martial art called gun katas, kinda like armed close-combat fighting, it made dodging bullets seem reasonable in real-life and not using a computer generated world as an escuse if you like the matrix then you'd definately like it, the only down point in my opinion was the story but it wasn't that bad.

to live is to suffer, to survive, well, thats to find meaning in the sufferening.....

aikedo masters have video footage of dodging bullets, its about listening for the explosions and reacting at the same time.

its impressive but who needs to train for that stuff!

sorry about that. I seemed to have copied some data to Opera's clipboard and pasted it.

To be fair not many ideas are truely original, most are insprited by something. The trick is having enough of your own ideas to create the illusion of originality. The Matrix could be a upgraded Lawnmower Man, but it's done so that you never even think of the connection.
