I was trying to run this simple line of code:




But when I go to build it is says "error, did you forget to incluse
stdafx.h in your source" can anyone help? Oh, I'm new at this, so when
at the beginning of a line if it says db, does it mean its a Dark Basic Pro command? Thanks

There is two immediate errors with that line of code, a literal string value should be enclosed in double quotation marks, and you should terminate the line with a semi-colon.

e.g.


I would strongly recommend that you get a book on C++ programming or read some online tutorials, otherwise you are gonna be banging your head against the wall pretty soon.

Is that your whole souce file?

You forgot to include the GDK header, and set up a main() function if it is.

Your signature has been erased by a mod
