Quote: "alright TDK not to be mean or anything, but just because i'm new, and this actually the first forum i got into, and you're a mod doesn't mean that you can take some of my opinions, like having a pop post, and use them against me."
Not sure that I know what you mean there. I've not used anything
against you. All I've done is told you where you have done something on here that is likely to annoy other users. That's more than most new users get.
When you sign up to this forum there's a bit which says that 'you agree to the rules of the forum'. By joining, you agreed to this. It's not our fault if you didn't read them.
I think that you'll find that all forums have similar rules to this one - as you'll discover when you start using them.
There are also stickies at the top of each board which tell you important information you should read
before posting. Once again, it's not our fault if you didn't read them.
Did you read the following thread carefully as I suggested earlier:
Read Me!
...as you still don't seem to have got the idea about how this forum should be used.
Quote: "i just like having a popular post."
That's all well and good, but you have to remember that it's others that make your thread popular not you - you can't force others to read it or post in it. If you do by multiple posting (spamming) you start to get annoying and people will tell you so.
This forum is basically support for TGC product users where they get help and answers to their questions. Dozens of pointless posts simply push more important ones down the page. That's why the mods on Geek Culture enforce a limit to the number of silly games on there.
Quote: "and i always read my new posts like 10 times a day"
You should read them before you post them and correct the errors.
Quote: "so hopefuly this thread can stay up for a while atleast until i can get some more progress done."
To be honest, this one should be locked for the use it is. The opening post is simply telling us about a game that doesn't exist. If it did, then it's a work in progress (WIP) and should be on the WIP board.
But, for it to be there you need to show progress, screen-shots, demo etc. - which you haven't got.
Either way it would normally be locked. However I'll leave it unlocked as long as it stops you posting junk anywhere else.
The questions you have asked in this and your other threads are all answered in the stickies at the top of this board and to be honest, if you'd read the thread I've linked you to twice already, we wouldn't be having to tell you all of this.
So far I've been as pleasant as I can be and offered you help and advice. But I've wasted far too much time doing so and from this moment on I have no option but to assume that you have read the above thread and the AUP and know the rules.
We enforce these rules with everyone who breaks them - not just you. Those who play within the rules are left well alone. Please make sure that from now on, you fall into this category!
