Ok so silent shade is a game of vampires and the humans. fighting for domination the genreral storyline is about how a town is turned from a peaceful quiet town into a ransacked rundown hellhole. the main character is Ketherin shade who is turned into a vampire and is still trying to learn out about how her powers work



I am looking for help on this game am in need of 3d designers
looking to make 2 parts of a body which will be top and bottom half.

also in need of texture artists.

Sounds pretty cool, but could you post more information about it; like what type of game it is and what you have done so far. Any artists will want to know more about your game before commiting to help.

thanks jerok,

its a multiplayer fps game. so far done the main movement engine. and am coding the gun commands and enemy ai now. it is getting quite difficult as i dont have any models to work with.

the multiplayer parts of the game will involve mostly team based assualts on the opposing team and probably alot free for all aswell.

Update on game

doing well on progress

Game info

The game will feature a story mode plus multyplyer. there will be the full game and the optional just multiplayer.

The Plot
Set in a small peaceful town a teenage girl gets turned into a vampire. Confused about what she should be doing with these new cravings for blood she starts her new life try to learn how to be a fully functioning vampire. while on her quest to learn more about her new life the town is over run with vampires. The vampires are challenged by a human task force sent to try and take the town back by any means neccecary.

Multiplayer
The multiplayer mode of silent shade will feature a ranking system requiring you to sign up to a website where you will be able to check the stats you have and your rank against other players.
Stats will include such things as kills, deaths, assista. favourite weapon and favourite maps and so on.

Pistols
Smg's
Shotgun
Swords
Claws(Fists)

Flamethrower

Should the vampires really use Shotguns and SMGs?? I figure if you try to make each "class" use different weapons, it'd make it more interesting. I like pistols, Swords, and Claws for the vampires, but why not give them a crossbow, mace, biting, or anything more vampire than SMGs and shotguns. Just my two cents, really.

i was thinking that but this game is going to be set in the near future ie 2020 or so. so they would have evlolved from simple thing like crossbows. and to make the game realistic a cross bow would do no way near as much damage as guns which would make the teams fairly uneven

the weapons may change to more ancient weapons for the vampires thoguh we are going to do research as to what weopens they can weild that are more ancient but still effective

Your going to make people pick between using shotguns and sniper rifles you mean person. I can't help because my current project(Somthing very similar, not story wise but you know multi-player fps) and some of the stuff i'm doing for Beast is taking most of my time.

this is ust a general layout so far it wil all be evened out in the end i want to find something long ranged for vampires to use but isnt modern bit is still effective
im thinking or likea scoped crossbow or something. yeah your help would of been nice haha. but if you cant that is fine

thanks yeah there has been progress we are doing the weapon system now.

@Hessiess thanks for that helps out heaps.

ATM working on networking and weapons. after that will be working on a proper demo

Sorry i havent been posting much about the game we. im having alot of trouble trying to do everything myself as i havent been able to find any help for the game. and im only really a programmer. so if ayone woul dlike to help it would be appreciated.

I have have got a few new weapons for the game here is one of them its an uzi.there will be another demo release soon with multiplayer modes enabled.
