I have Maya 2008 and i have created a character model and even textured it withing this program. Is anyone aware of a way that i can export my character to be able to be used within FPSC. Maya has its own Bone structure system that works very good. I just don't know if i can export as a direct x file. I can export my model to Milkshape (Which i also have) but my texture does not work on milkshape. I would have to remap him and the Mapping system that milkshape has will not fit the texture i made.

I am running short on time and was wondering if anyone can help. I also have 3ds max 2008 so i have a wide variety of programs to choose from. I know of a functional fpsc skeleton on Milkshape and on max but nothing for maya. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

-Julio

Pandasoft plug in for max. Butterfingers uses maya you can search some of his threads, and there are some helpful treads on milkshape by D13 and others.
