Hey... yea, haven\'t been here in months...maybe even years...
but I was at http://osdev.org \'s forums, and came across this http://www.osdev.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16083

I read it and was completely amazed(me posting as hckr83, btw)...
reminds me of the basic days...lol...now, I\'ve went further than C, and use assembly... can\'t say I regret using dbp though, taught me the beginnings of programming, and really a great language for BASIC...

dunno.. just thought I\'d randomly make a post here for old times...lol..even though no one probably remembers me.

meh... I left DBP to make an OS... glad I did, game development isn't for me, and therefor, DBP isn't...

I take up C++ and Asm now, and still occasionally read this forum late at night...

I'm still alive though! w00t life! lol...

Consider C++ with the DarkGDK which has been released for free. Many people (including myself) have quit DBP for the flexibility of C++ with DarkBasic's engine.
