So you want to import the models into 3d max 9 im not sure exactly how to do it but you will need some sort of model converter.

I would suggest Fragmotion Its free and ill give you step by step on how to import into max

Step 1- Download frag motion

Step 2-Open fragmotion

Step 3-while in fragmotion click file/open

Step 4-once in the open file screen go to my computer/c drive/program files/the game creators/fpscreator/files/entity bank.

Step 5-find the file you want to upload into fragmotion and upload the x file.

Step 6-When it is in fragmotion you should be able to see it.

Step 7-click file/export

Step 8-Save it to a filetype that will work with max

Step 9-open in max and enjoy

Im not 100 precent sure if this will work you will need to see which file type max can use max is a pretty high end software so it should handel most file types.

If this dosnt work try just uploading the x file of the entitys into max by clicking file/open
Then go to my computer/c drive/program files/the game creators/fpscreator/files/entity bank
pick the x file you want and upload it.

Tell me ur results i would like to know if my advise worked

Basically butyouman said it all...

But...if you want to convert the character models or something else with animations...
than you would probably have to figure some other way out...cause i thought fragmotion cant export
models with animations suitable for 3ds.
(or at least i thought so)
