I had a dream that started with me playing Runescape (not on my computer though, more like I was actually my guy, but I was having an out-of-body experience). It developed into the most awesome Zelda+Matrix lucid dream evar.

I also remember waking up one morning thinking that I had an object number, and was desperately trying to remember how to access it.

Lmao, that pic is one of my favorites Grandma.

Anyone here ever seen the movie Waking Life? It's a pretty interesting film that talks a lot about lucid dreaming, and even some things that Image All said, about how people in dreams can come up with ideas and say things that you yourself would never think of (consciencely). It's bizarre and kinda "trippy", but it still talks about some very interesting concepts.

Look! A Swede!

Let's capture and dissect him. As a swede, he's probably full of liquid EVIL and HATE.
Look at him, trying to portray the outrageous idea that swedes have feelings.

There's irony in the fact that a Swede is also a type of vegetable.

i used to have this REALLY strange dream.
EDIT: maybe i should say what it is.
EDIT2: ye, i will.

I would be walking along a corridor but i would have some elastic attached to my back and the wall. so whenever i got too far away i would just fly backwards.
anyway - i learned to control it by giving myself a pair of scissors and i would cut the elastic every so often (yes, the elastic grew back).

Just because you're jealous Grandma, you can't face up to fact Norwegians are wannabe Swedish people. Same reason why the English mock every other race, it's because we're inadequate.

Damn right!

Would you call it weird when you have a flu/cold with a migrane with either getting too hot or too cold at certain stages that when trying to sleep, though conscious you start to piece together the perceptions from your brain mixed with slamming doors to assume you're in a haunted house and your two families stuck between ownership of the house so that ghosts haunt you and then you find by piecing the mystery together in your head it's solved...even at the point in time you seeing it as beeing 100% logical...

Sorry, but that's what happened the other night (well to the point i can best explain the experience), either the migrane has unlocked a new level of insanity anf has induced paranoia or have Quorn put magic mushrooms into their rather disgusting take on fake-chicken?

I suppose Quorn realise their 'chicken' is disgusting (unlike their 'beef') as all their food is fungus based it probably was a business move "Magic mushrooms, they're addictive! That way our chicken style Quorn will sell"

Hmmm I'm sure someone here can make a comic strip on something like that...

You can go into deep coma if you really over do the death dreaming.. Or in worst case die.(Not sure about dying)

Myself.. yeah i would like to see the lucid dreams.. But i dont see dreams at all. When i was kid i saw the visions what will happen future.. Well i see nowdays too but they are rare.

Its kinda strange when the "thing" happens.. You just stay there and be quiet and think like "WTF?"

The reason i would like to see lucid dreams is that real life is boring.

I have a dream where each member of my family is systematically crushed into pebbles by a giant steam roller, and I am left with a pile of pebbles and one stone, which I constantly have to explain to my friend is 'Just a stone'.

Fun.

Yes, flipping wake you up - then you think 'wtf I didn't jump, stupid legs I'm laying down.' Of course it's a true sign of insanity when you're talking to your limbs.

There are plenty of ways to escape reality - insanity, delusions, dreams, dangerous hallucinogenics (bad idea, I would never go near them) or the easiest ways out, become a writer or an MMORPG geek.

Of course, insanity and delusion ftw!

I never have really crazy dreams anymore...but when I do, they are really sad.

I have deja vu every day though. I had one case of it the other day that was so crazy that I could "remember" what people were gonna say, and then they said it. It was insane.

I have an awful lot of deja vu, but psychic? No I reckon it's an illusion that you've seen the thing you've just seen before, but you haven't (duplications in your memory?)

I get that sometimes, its sort of like a "whoa, Im sure thats happened before" or "wait a moment, i dreamt about that happening", but the feeling only lasts for a second or two.

i look at the wikibook on lucid dreaming, and realised, even though it is rare, almost all of my dreams are lucid, but i see them like through a tv, and sometimes i only hear them, but am creepely aware of where everything is. i think i will try some tequeniques this summer once school gets out.

I actually had a terrible dream recently that Natalie Portman killed herself for some reason. I guess it was en lieu of the whole Heath Ledger thing .
