Alright as far as number 3, I have an explanation.
Dark basic/or darkbasic pro is a programming language so you are capable of doing anything that you can imagine.Although it takes time the learning curve is less steep than many other programming langauges, but the power of dark basic pro, can come close to matching or even topping languages like C++.

So if you put enough time and effort into your work you can get great results, although remember if you've never programmed before to start with smaller projects in mind and then work your way up.

But don't worry there are plenty of detailed tutorials, and if your having trouble just post here at the forums, and we'll help you as soon as possible as long as you ask nicely.
