Hm, it appears you just put little red blots over the original splatter effect.

EDIT: Does anyone care that he edited stock media like that?

Even if, how hard is it to make a blood splatter? The splatter has some alpha effect that the original decal does, but not the one he made. If that made sense...it means that he used some decal effects from the stock decal.

Yes, I know, exactly my point! Why would you need a template for it? It's a gush of blood!

Hm...when I started making graphics and stuff, instead of using others from other people, I didn't like to use templates. I observed how water splashes and how it moves and flows etc. But it really doesn't matter anymore, I just don't like people using stock material for their own work, it just pushes my buttons... But, hey, nice talkin' with you bloodeath!

EDIT: Oh, and for a webiste link to properly work, you NEED to put http:// in front of it, Bloodeath. Or else it will recognize it as a sub-section of the current site.

Heh...if you just cut everything, it doesn't delete any channels, which add a certain transparency effect to the image. It also tells it how much of the image to show and how much should not even be seen. It's complicated to explain. I'm not even sure if the GIMP can use channels... Oh well...

Yo, dude, you uploaded the SAME FILE. The GIMP may read files differently... If you just cut something, it doesn't delete, changing alpha channels deletes it.

Okay dude, my bad... The GIMP does read this file much differently than Photoshop does... Wow... Well, the GIMP reads it as it's supposed to be, and PS reads it without transparencies etc. Pic. attached to see what I mean. Those are both the same image, but different programs reading it.
