Hi,

I have just bought myself a book called DB Programming for the absolute beginner off the Internet.

So with anticipated breath I started to read it, but only after a couple of pages do I find that this seems to be geared up towards DBPro programming...mmm?

So I was wondering if anybody can put me straight...is this book suitable for the DB classic or is DBPro a completely different ball game.

Many thanks.
Paul.

Having not actually read the book...

DBP and DBC are effectively the same language, but DBP has slightly more advanced commands. Sometimes you may come across commands that do not work in DBC, but you can normally get round them with intellectual coding.

You can write crap in DBPro as well as DBC - it just crashes quicker! -TDK

Yes, it was a mistake. I was making a HTML form with 'Insert Name Here' on it, while creating my account, and there was a splicing accident.
Edit: Why are we even having this conversation?
