Overall it looks good. You might want to make it a little darker and it looks like it got cut off at the bottom but if it didn't then all I would do is make it darker.

Well as an expert on how blood works (slight sarcasm) here's a few tips:

1. Make the blood...splatter a bit more, make more little drops of blood here-and-there, to add a splattering effect.

2. Your blood looks more like someone dipped their hand in blood and smeared it across a wall. Try to take-away the little dots away from the blood texture.

3. Shape is good, practice on how liquids splatter, go outside on the pavement with a bottle-full of water and splash a little water on the DRY pavement. Observe how it splatters, it helps me.

Other than that, a very VERY good first, considering the inner details are very good, just a bit less of the pixel-sized dots.

EDIT: If you make it in a .tga or .dds format, I could make it into an overlay for you, if you would like.

I think your first one was better this one looks more like it was painted with a brush in paint or photoshop. It looks good but I think the original was the masterpiece. =)

you need to make it runnier, also add a few different shades to it as blood has different colors depending of it's oxygen levels..

Over all it looks good mate!

Cheers,
Dave

You're first one is much better than second, but it wont show up in fpsc good, because its too choppy, need to make it more subtle, because when you make overlays you'll get black lines around it if your lines are too crazy, trust me.

just some advice.
